• Electrical Engineering and Failure Analysis: Complete
failure analysis and testing of electrical and electronic appliances,
equipment, and wiring in commercial and residential structures, as well
as vehicles. This work is performed at the incident site or in the
laboratory, as appropriate. Case work can include fire loss, electrical
product liability, electrical failure, lightning strike, electric shock,
and related areas.
• Site and Laboratory Examinations:
• Extremely fast response time for site or
laboratory examinations, frequently including same day or next day
service, depending on scheduling requirements and the site location.

• If the site is located with driving distance of our
laboratory (an approximate 400 mile radius), a comprehensive,
state of the art set of photography equipment (including digital, 35mm,
and video), electrical measurement instruments, and tools are used to
facilitate a complete and thorough electrical evaluation.
• Our “400 mile radius” includes: Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi,
South Carolina, Tennessee, Kentucky, North and Central Florida, South
and Central Virginia, Southern West Virginia and Eastern Louisiana (New
Orleans and vicinity).
• Beyond a 400 mile radius, air travel is most practical. A
smaller but very effective photography and tool set can be accommodated
using air travel.
• Weekend requests can often be accommodated for urgent cases.
• Joint Laboratory Examinations conducted at FAST, Inc.
include participant’s use of laboratory facilities: Telephone, fax,
photocopies, common office supplies, coffee, catered food, DSL internet
connections, etc.
